Eighty-five women (and one man) attended the WICE 2011 Spring Conference at the Glen Sanders Mansion in Scotia, NY, on May 11th for a day focused on the theme “Tightening our Belts.” The program is summarized by WICE members at the following links, and the full day’s agenda is also posted.

Attendees broke for lunch and enjoyed a cooking demonstration, where the Glen Sanders Executive Chef, Will Brown, was assisted by WICE Board Member Patricia Acampora.

In addition to speakers, cooking, and networking, WICE presented three $500 donations to partner organizations ToLife!, Girls Inc., and Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless. WICE raised the donations from members through raffling baskets at the 2011 Spring Conference and matching the raffle proceeds from WICE treasury funds.
